Our 5th and 6th classes were invited to a Tag Rugby tournament in Sligo Rugby Club last September 14th.
The children had practiced with small sided games of tag rugby in advance, and drills to pass the ball backwards while moving forwards! Our allocated team was Chile and we had great fun researching their history, culture and recreating the Easter Island maoi!
It was a lovely crisp day and we paraded all our work and Chilean colours in advance of the competition starting. Our 4 teams were very successful, We had a great fun filled day.
