Corballa NS has been a hive of sporting activity this September, with many successes to date.
3rd and 4th classes have resumed their swimming lessons in Ballina Swimming pool during September.
They also has a track session at Ballina Athletic Track in advance of the Athletics Fest in Sligo on September 26th. 5th and 6th class students also participated in a practice at the Track on Thursday 19th September.
5th and 6th class pupils and some from 3rd and 4th took part in the Athleticsfest at the IT track in Sligo with all students giving it their all and running their best on the day. Congratulations to all who took part.
Congratulations also to all the competitors who represented themselves and their school so well in the Sligo Schools Cross Country event that took place in Rathcormack last Saturday September 21st. Congratulations to the 2 girls who have qualified as individual runners in the 3rd / 4th class category for the Connacht Schools competition in Leitrim on October 12th. We wish you the best of luck.
Congratulations also to the boys and girls of 5th and 6th classes who qualified from the first round of the Cumann na mBunscol Mini 7s competition last Friday 20th September. We await news of our next round in this competition.
