4th – 9th December
We have had a number of opportunities to create some lovely Christnas and winter themed craft, some are still in progress. Here’s what we have so far
9th – 13th November
We had a very entertaining and thought provoking science week as we grappled with physics, illusions, our brains and senses, microbes and glow in the dark ‘germs’, jelly, the planet Saturn and much more. We used many of the interesting videos and webinars provided for science week which were very beneficial…
6th November
We were finishing off our Christmas cards Art fundraiser on Friday and, keeping with the wintery theme, finished up with some chalk pastel snowmen. What wonderful artists we have in 5th and 6th class. Can’t wait to put them on display.

An ominous looking sky before PE was prematurely abandoned due to rain on Tuesday
Halloween Capers 2020 in 5th and 6th Class
We took some socially distanced class photographs for posterity but the light wasn’t quite right so we will give it another ‘shot’ soon!
23rd Sept 2020
Some of our ‘quick work’ on data!
17th Sept 2020
We are fortunate to have the support of Stephen Henry from Sligo GAA Coaching and Games for our PE sessions on Thursdays. Children remain in their pods for the session and all equipment is cleaned and sanitized before the next bubble’s session. 5th and 6th class are making great strides in their GAA skills and decision making!
4th Sept 2020
Our 5th and 6th Class are settling back into school and are as creative, active and competitive as ever. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunshine (and plenty of rain!) during our 1st week back at school so were able to play some socially distanced, yet competitive, football rounders outdoors in our pods.
And we have been working on our portraits and self portraits. Here they are at various stages of completion. Some great progress made – great work!
