5th and 6th class recently took part in an in-house spelling bee to select a qualifier for the county competition on February 12th. There was stiff competition all round and our finalists were Ellie, Niamh and Keeva in 6th class and Grace, Shane and Kyle in 5th. Well done to all. While Ellie won by just a whisker she was unavailable to represent the school in Rathcormack on that date, so Niamh was the next in line and did herself and our school proud at the finals in February advancing to the 4th round. Thank you to all who took part and a special well done to Niamh for all your hard work….
