March 2023 has been such a busy month at Corballa NS. We have had many proud moments from our senior girls success in the Mini 7s competition where they qualified for the finals day in Collooney, coming in as runners up in their semi-final against a strong Moylough team, where, on the same day, Ava Hallinan took part in the finals of the place kicking competition to the hugely successful St. Patrick’s Day parade in Enniscrone where the school band and marchers represented us so well. From World Book Day paired reading and table quizes to the Gortnor Abbey musical, to the Green School team running the show, with poster and Slogan competitions and our very successful Green Schools inspection. And as we approach the end of the month, we are preparing to, sadly, say ‘Goodbye and Thank You’ to our long standing and much loved school secretary Breege as she finishes up with us in Corballa for the last time this week. We hope to give her a big send off after all she has given to Corballa NS and all who passed through those doors over the years.
