December was a busy month for music, art and drama in Corballa NS with visits to Christmas shows, drama productions and music performances along with a plethora of beautiful winter and Christmas crafts. A great evening’s entertainment took place on Wednesday 13th December with performances of Straw and Order by Mrs Durkin’s 1st and 2nd classes while Ms Finnerty’s 5th and 6th class did their interpretation of Home Alone with beautiful singing and playing of instruments by Junior and Senior infants and 3rd and 4th class. The follow Friday, as us the custom, 6th class cooked their delicious 3 course meal with 5th class making a tasty soup. The Christmas period in school wrapped up with a prayerful Advent ceremony for the whole school. Pictures to follow
