The run up to Christmas was such a busy time in Corballa NS, from Christmas plays, jumper days, arts and crafts and cookery, the school was a hive of activity for the duration. One of the highlights was the whole school’s production of the Christmas Show, involving children from Junior infants to second class in the Nativity play the Midwife’s Crisis to the senior end of the school 3rd to 6th’s performance of A Christmas Carol. Everyone gave a stellar performance and there was a tremendous amount of talent on show, acting, singing, playing instruments and dancing.
Later in December, 6th class prepared and cooked a delicious 3 course Christmas Dinner, with a little help from 5th! Yum!
There were a variety of Cribs and Christmas art works on display and we were all ready for the Christmas break by the time December 21st rolled around decked out in our finest Christmas jumpers.
