Thanks to past pupil Stephen Rogan who came to visit us last week with the cup won by the Sligo Minors as Connacht Football Champions 2021 after a 53-year gap. The school was awash with the black and white of Sligo, with flags, bunting, posters and everyone wearing their finest Sligo or Castleconor gear! It was great to be able to speak to and ask questions of one of our own and Stephen was generous with his time and encouragement of our young and upcoming male and female Gaelic footballers! Congratulations to Stephen and the Sligo Minor team and his advice to all was to keep practising and enjoy it!
