Eight of our 6th class pupils headed off to Scarden last Tuesday April 1st to participate in the Amigo Hurling Skills division 1 competition. It was a closely fought contest on a beautiful sunny evening with a strong breeze to contend with. Everyone performed exceptionally well and following the long wait for all teams to finish, it was Corballa National School that came out on top in both the boys and the girls competition. A fabulous result for a skilled bunch of athletes. You have made us all very proud. A big thank you also for the parents who brought their children along to the event.
