3rd and 4th class children had a wonderful opportunity to take part in a Drawing and Ecology workshop funded through the Arts Council as part of Creative February at The Model Art Gallery in Sligo last Thursday 13th February. Children were taken on a tour of the gallery and took part in a workshop demonstrating natural or traditional drawing techniques using different materials, making inks and home made charcoal from willow. Thank you to our Creative Schools facilitator, Leslie Ryan, for co-ordinating this lovely active and creative day for our children.
