What an amazing achievemet for the Corballa Boys Hurling team, returning the Cumann na mBunscol Hurling shield to their school for the 3rd year in a row.
In 2 hard fought battles, in miserable conditions, showing grit, skill, determination and great team work, they edged their way ahead in the semi-final against the Gaelscoil and the final against Rosses Point, (who, incidentally, were playing in the hurling competition for the 1st time – a fantastic feat for them!!)
We are very proud of their performance under the watchful eye of their coach, Yvonne, and of the accomplishments of our past pupils who have led them to this auspucious occasion. Comhghairdeas as an éacht iontach seo!
